Yum Ki Chang is an experienced executive in the fields of international finance, technology, and public policy. Currently, he works as Circle's VP of Strategy and Policy. His executive leadership is driving market expansion and Circle's public policy efforts. Prior to joining Circle, Yum Ki held strategic and public policy roles at Google Payments and Google Cloud, and was involved in partnership strategies, market expansion, and government affairs. Prior to joining Google, Yum Ki worked as director of global and Asian economies at the White House National Security Council under the Obama administration, coordinated interagency processes relating to America's economic strategy in Asia, and was a member of the G-20 and G-7 United States Sherpa negotiation teams. Prior to joining the National Security Council staff, he worked for the US Treasury's US-China Strategic Economic Dialogue and the United States Committee on Foreign Investment offices. Early in my career, I worked in technology investment banking at Jefferies in Silicon Valley. He has a master's degree in international relations from Columbia University's School of International Public Policy and a bachelor's degree in economics from Carleton College.
